Lashed to the mast of a sinking ship

Challenge: Campaign as if Trump, MAGA, and social media never existed.

Pulling a Tuberville or praying?
It takes a certain kind of nerve or shamelessness to run as a Republican candidate these days. You can either pull what has become known as the full Coach Tuberville—i.e., act out the permanent absence of cerebral and brainstem functions—or hope and pray that voters don’t remember and notice that you were latched onto the Floridian’s MAGA teat until very recently as bit players in the three-ring circus that is the GOP.

They could have run as independents or started their own party. They could have admitted openly and publicly that they have seen the light, called for hot water, towel, a priest, and a bullhorn, and exorcised the demons that possessed their souls.

Running on the military and local transparency
But no—god help us—they’re running on military service while tacitly drawing support from the lockstep family-run party structure that is committing war crimes on a routine basis, bumbled us into the Iran War, spiked the oil price, and that is grifting the hell out the Pentagon all the while relying on the same local, toxic and tired MAGA town characters to show up at their feeble events.

All of a sudden these people are above party politics, all about Massachusetts all the time. Just 18 months ago, they were all about executive overreach, the Bill of Rights, election conspiracy, posing with J6ers and wearing MAGA gear. They’re running on affordability and local transparency while blithely ignoring the Administration’s attempts at rigging the economy and its obvious criminality.

Vote Democratic up and down the ballot
Somewhere somehow, someone convinced them and their massive egos to give it the old college try and see if people are really that stupid. Show them that we remember! It’s time for everyone to wake up to the reality that there is nothing left of what we once knew as the Republican party!

Boxford NO KINGS on Oct. 17 at noon

We decide who represents us. We decide what comes next. For more than a year, millions of people have come together to reject the idea that power belongs to kings, billionaires, or politicians who believe they are above the people and the law.

Now, Boxford and the surrounding towns are taking the next step, turning people power into voter power. Unlike previous No Kings actions, No Kings: Vote Early, is not purely a protest. Instead, on October 17, it's a day of nonpartisan voter participation: we are bringing our community together to make a plan to vote early and ensuring every eligible voter understands their options for how to vote and has the opportunity to make their voice heard.

No one person gets to decide our leaders before voters do!

We are featuring a couple of surprise speakers… stay tuned!

Our next NO KINGS rally will take place in front of the Boxford Historic Document Center on October 17 from noon to 1 p.m. (Directions.)

LET’S MAKE VOTING THE FOCUS OF OUR SIGNS AT THE EVENT!

Our BlueRides initiative operates in extension of the NO KINGS event. If you know anyone who needs a ride to the polls, please let us know and we’ll be happy to provide a help.

FIVE-MINUTE MIDTERMS

With recent unprecedented attempts to block eligible Americans from voting, the most important thing you can do leading up to November 3rd is take 5 minutes a week to protect your vote. That means making sure your ballot won’t get rejected due to small preventable errors or larger systemic attempts at election sabotage.

Every week, we’ll share a new 5-minute action that will protect you and your ballot. Once you’ve completed your weekly task, you’ll unlock sharable achievement graphics with state-specific voting information that can be shared on social media to inspire and encourage your friends to protect their votes, too.
