Tripled Attendance at Second Drinks-with-Dems Event at Singular Location

We’re officially on a July/World Cup recovery newsletter break until August but here’s a brief breakdown of last week and our upcoming events.

Drinks with Dems
Thanks to all the many Boxford Democrats who showed up for last Thursday’s event at Alfalfa Farms Cellars!
The BoxfordDems and our wonderful MiddletonDems neighbors met for our second event at Alfalfa Farm Cellars in Topsfield.
We had some 26 people there and saw special appearances by Dan Koh, candidate for Massachussetts Sixth District in the U.S. House of Representatives and Connor Murray, our 18th Essex candidate for the State House.
(Dan impressed (me in particular) with insights into some of finer points of World Cup oddities, and this was even before Donald Trump disgraced himself by being booed and trying to and partially succeeding in photobombing the final celebratory photo of the Spanish World Cup winners yesterday. (He was subsequently edited out in the official FIFA photo.)
Thank you to Alfalfa Farms Cellars for accommodating us. The staff there is incredibly nice, and we donated a BoxfordDems shirt to one of the proprietors. We’re looking forward to returning on August 20 at 4:30 p.m.

BoxfordDems Committee member and legislative aide to State House Representative Kristin Kassner (2nd Essex), Christina Eckert, is kicking off the series with a brief overview of the ballot-initiative process.
Projects coming up
