Join our door-hanger initiative - get your neighbors involved!
We need neighbors willing to distribute door hangers in Boxford! We have no public sidewalks; residents don’t expect canvassers; Boxford has 2-acre zoning and distances between addresses often have to be traversed on heavily trafficked roads with hard-to-find houses—in other words, Boxford is notoriously difficult to canvass.
Objective: Creating a new network
That’s where you can help: The purpose here is to return to first principles: rebuilding an engaged community. You know the peculiarities of the area (and your neighbors) better than any politician ever could. You can help us create a network off the Facebook hellscape of like-minded people—starting with Boxford voters who are either registered as Democrats and Unenrolled.
Old-Fashioned: Email-based
To activate, communicate, and engage with Boxford voters regularly, we need people to register their email addresses on our website or simply scan the QR code on the door hanger. We send out only a single email a week and we don’t share subscribers’ email addresses or other contact details with organizations, political campaigns, or businesses. (Oh, and we don’t normally fundraise.)
Er… do door hangers make a difference?
We have found that roughly every 12 door hangers distributed result in one signup at our website, which is an astonishingly good response rate.

Email us at chair@boxforddems.org or complete the form on https://boxforddems.org/doorhanger with the route you’ve chosen. (But wait… there’s more… if you pledge to do over 47 addresses, you’ll get a t-shirt.)
We will then cross those of our list and deliver the door hangers and other materials to your door.
